It has been sometime now since I have felt inspired to write.....after watching the DVD Cold Mountain....I felt inspired to write this.... Not entirely based on the movie and the premise...it did inspire this particular writing.......to maybe add a scene...unseen in that movie.....after Ada loses Inman near the end.........."And she trudges on........"
Though in the film, Inman never really broke her heart....Life and it's turn of events destroyed her happy ending.........

"Ada"

And she trudges through the darkness........
Nestled in her arms is the heart she allowed to be torn and ripped apart.
Closing her eyes to the blinding twilight from the sky light
That trespasses into her realm......her destiny...the only true thing left remaining in her life
"I Put My Trust In Him...I Put My Faith in us..."
Now I put what's left inside the tomb.....burying that love....I Blow away it's fine dust......
I long for the day I can taste the sun and feel the burn from that of which I take it from.......
To feel alive..........
You never heard me screaming..........
I only I hope I was dreaming...that you werent heartless and that maybe your intentions weren't to pick apart my heart
The serpent hisses.......the snake......for me... the symbol of mistake
Can he hear me aching???????? Did you feel me break?????????
And she trudges through the darkness.....mocking images haunt her walk
Feeling as if she is no longer breathing....Looking down into her arms she fears........Her heart.....No Longer beating....Ronnie/Harry Spady 2003
