While on Gay.com chatting to a friend in the U.K. I happened to notice that there is a contest running on the site in search of "Mr.Gay.Com".
After, however many entries, it has been narrowed down to 51 contestants.
Contestants are voted on Mind, Heart and Body on a scale of 1-5...with 5 being the highest score. Contestants are asked a few questions....the ones I remember right off hand are "If You Could Be A Television Character, Who Would You Be?" and "Who Inspires You The Most?"

NOW...here is the reason I am posting this. because it has brought me back full circle to SKINNY EVIL BITCHES!!!!!!

I searched all 51 profiles and only TWO of the contestants were of REAL SIZE. So far, voters have placed them both at the BOTTOM of the list. Even though they had great profile pictures AND they answered questions with both HEART AND MIND..... They are last. Why? Because they don't have a complete six pack on their stomach and their pictures weren't that of nearly nude. Instead they possessed substance, which, clearly shown by the voting scores...doesn't account for DIDALLY.

One contestant who was good looking, a bit under fed, but also full of MIND and Heart replied to one of the questions with "I don't judge anyone by looks, what clothes they are wearing...I look for their heart and what is on the inside...that's what counts." Of course when I Viewed his rating everyone who had voted for him so far had voted him an undeserved rating of a ONE on both heart and MIND categories.....I am sorry but someone who interacts with a person without judgement of ANY kind, in my eyes is FULL of Heart and Mind and is no where near a rating of a ONE.....


We want equal rights, we want to be accepted, we want, we want, we want, well you know what...."fix what's broken with in our circle, make that stronger...accept every gay "Family" member for who they are, not what the fuck they weigh, not because their clothes aren't designer duds, and they dont hang out at the clubs every weekend and aren't part of a "Clique". Certainly, segregating off into cliques isn't going to strengthen that circle....it only weakens it.

I know I will take ALOT of heat for saying what I am about to say...but Fuck it...I am going to say......it needs to be said. Most of the Gay community are extremely judgemental. We, who are judged ALL the time by the majority of society are actually the quickest TO JUDGE...AND SADLY THE JUDGING ARE THOSE INDIVIDUALS WITHIN OUR OWN COMMUNITY." Those we refer to as "FAMILY."

Everyone wants and desires love....we preach not to hate and discriminate.......acceptance and tolerance of our own is crucial to attaining the goal of equality in all aspects...it's the ONLY way we as gay community will ever win our quest for acceptance and equality
