What's New With Me?

Well, mainly I have been writing my ass off as I am nearing completion to "Emerging Through Spider Webb's." It's been a LONG tiring and sometimes painful process, but I am so glad that I have done this. I have my first review meeting on July 9th in Chicago.

Secondly, everyone remembers my *Trim Spa phase and the constant battle it is for me to stick to any diet regimine. As always expressed, I do NOT think anyone should diet if he or she is comfortable within their skin and healthy. My goal was/is to eventually be removed from my hypertension medication. Also, everyone has heard of my HORROR storie's when I did try to go to a gym, so my desire level to stick with the YMCA dwindled rather rapidly.
Now, summer is here and yes, I have lost 30 pounds since the begining of *Trim Spa, but I have also reached a plato that has stayed consistent for many months now. So, Mark has agreed for me to work with a personal trainer here in our home for three days a week.
At first, I was a bit skeptical when he offered. I thought...."Great someone is going to come into my home, weigh me, raid my refrigirator of my *Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and be up in my face like some fat farm drill sergeant." Eventually, I agreed with only one condition. The private trainer HAS to be female. Of course, now looking back I see why Mark was so accepting of that suggestion. Though we have complete trust in one another, the idea of some big buff sexy gym guy in your home training your spouse while you are at work, probably isnt the smartest of things.
Melissa, my trainer, has been really great. The one type of exercise I enjoy more than any other is Pilates. My entire body feels differently since begining this. In a good way. My will power is back.... now, instead of reaching for that Ice Cream in the freezer during a 2am bout of insomnia, I reach for an apple or some other fruit.

Now, since Soap Net has begun running today's episodes of "Days Of Our Lives" at 7pm EST everyday, I can do something else during that usual 1:00pm soap opera break.
Along with exercise, I am learning new hobbies to keep me busy instead of eating etc, I have actually been fishing on occassion and love it. I even bait my own hook and take my own fish off the line. Which has taken some getting some used to I must admit. The first fish I caught and was forced to remove myself....I REALLY was wishing I had brought my gun with me. You Know, to shoot it....then once not moving.... remove it.(Smile).....Have a great weekend everyone.
