Wrapping Up Some Loose Ends

OK...some time ago, I mentioned that I had started a job working for *LabCorp. The job details collecting DNA Bucccal swabs from alleged fathers and/or mothers for Paternity Child Support Cases. Though I seem to never post anything about it, I am still doing this every first,third and fourth thursdays of the month for four hours a day. I haven't spoken about this because it would only make for some boring reading. The whole thing of confidentiality prevents me from really saying much.

Also, I told everyone how I had gotten a summon for Jury Duty and was instructed that I MUST appear at the local court house. Well.......I'm sure I am going to get some slack about this from RE about this but..........I did NOT go. I expected them to call or atleast send a deputy to my home with a "Bench Warrant".....but they did neither. I was a bit disappointed in that. I mean, what fun is it breaking the law and NOT getting a "rise" out of the legal system. Total let down. LOL.

I am totally preparing for the holidays. This year is really so special for me. These are mine and Marks FIRST Holidays together. I am a bit sentimental in the respect that we are going to *Hallmark to purchase our first Christmas Tree Ornament together.
