Ugghhh!!! As If!!!!

My little sister and I found ourselves in a discussion about the music awards last night. She knew I would be ecstatic that Stevie Nicks and the others who make up Fleetwood Mac took home the AMA for best rock/pop band. I knew they would. They have stood the test of the time as a band and have proven they are not going away quietly just because of age. They still have music to make.

What did surprise me is that my sister was so clueless with Clay Aiken. It never crossed her mind that he could be GAY!!! Please, you literally have to be headless to NOT see that. I saw him on the Jimmy Kimbel show the other evening and through out the interview, Jimmy would ask him about a girlfriend. Finally Clay remarked, "Stop Digging!!!!" I heard myself saying to the television "Jimmy....He is gay...let it go already."

Leah's home girl, Missy Elliott took home an AMA . Arriving late to accept her award she apologized and explained she was late because "someone had stolen my limo outside my hotel." How the hell can somebody STEAL a limo??? Totally beyond me. But Missy DOES look damn good.

Faith Hill took home the award for best female country singer. Totally ironic since everything she has done lately IS NOT COUNTRY MUSIC!!!! Still, she has Tim McGraw to aide her in getting nominations. The first couple of country music I guess you can say. Martina McBride should have won that award. Sara Evans SHOULD have been nominated.

Sheryl Crow is aging very gracefully. She looked totally hot last night while performing. Her remake of the Rod Stewart's "The First Cut Is The Deepest" is awesome. It's one of those "cover" songs that is actually BETTER than the orgional. Then also, Rod Stewart has never really impressed me.

Pink.....My god. I agree with what Jimmy Kimbel stated after Pink finished her acoustic performance of "Trouble". Fantastic performance. "It's nice to see someone who can actually SING" (hint: Britney)

I went to the gym today. Attended my Step class. Some women haven't learned that Pink leotards,Leg warmers AND a Head Band are NOT STILL FASHIONABLE!!!! That look expired when Olivia Newton-John and her song "Physical" exited off BILLBOARD. But, I am proud to say that I completed the entire Step workout without an episode of hypoglycemia or Tourette's.
