The Snow Queen

Recently, my poetry writing had hit a "writers block" of sorts. As much as I tried to set aside the time from the other things going on in my life to write...I would eventually find myself only becoming frustrated and angry. Wondering if I could ever do it again.
Sunday, I happened to stumble online and find my friend Re', my sister of the moon. We had a great chat and discussed various things. Things that will remain private.
Later that evening, after our chat, I began thinking about the various topics of conversation Re and I had discussed...............then born........was The Snow Queen.
Thank you Re'.

The Snow Queen

What is it I do with these visions?
What is it.....that's driving me to this madness?
A kaleidoscope of colors emerge from my passion
I.......a mere mortal enslaved to this scrying
And the snow crystalizes
Freezing Babylon
A prince in his castle
Staring blindly out the window
Where has she gone------------
And the snow carelessly dances
As it's guided by the winds angry blow
And his memory can't erase
With each breath that he takes
He finds himself closer again to that once enchanted magikal place
His only wish...to once again....hold and craddle her face
I know one day.......she will reamerge soon
Tired and forlorn....from drawing down her moon
And the snow dies----------------------------------------2003:Harry/Ronnie Spady
