Hilary Duff Goes Number One
Snatching Mary J. Blige down from the number 1 spot and depositing her at number 2, Hilary Duffs' debut release METAMORPHOSIS crawls up to number 1.
As i said in a previous post about Hilary, she IS a talent to watch. She is cute and multi-talented. The album was a disappointment in my eyes, at best it is a C-. But none the less, bumping Mary J. down to number 2 IS a big deal.
The Billboard charts also see Beyonce's DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE solo debut climb back UP the charts from last weeks number 6 to this weeks number 4.
Norah Jones debut after 80 weeks of having been released is still sitting pretty at number 13.
Christina Augilera's STRIPPED still "a fighter" at number 25. The peak position for this album was number 2 but moved up another notch from last weeks number 26. Nestling above even Shania Twains UP release at number 28 which "down" from last weeks number 24.
One of my personal favorite bands Dashboard Confessionals is at number 30 with A MARK, A MISSION, A BRAND, A SCAR above Justin Timberlakes solo release JUSTIFIED at number 33 "trouser snaking" his way up from last weeks number 38.
