Hilary Duff....This Rising Child Star Is Definetely
A Talent To Be Watched
My nephew is totally obsessed with Hilary Duff, Star of Disney's LIZZY MCGUIRE. So, when Disney released the feature length film based on the television series he wanted to go and we took him. I was surprised as hell that i actually enjoyed the movie. After the movie, we went to Planet Music and purchased the soundtrack from the movie for A.J. so he could listen to it on the way home. I found myself singing along.
HILARY DUFF, is certainly a rapidly rising star. There's no denying it. I know that I may take some slack by some for saying this, but I am willing to bet that Hillary Duff is going to be huge in movies AND music. She is comfortable in front of the camera, very pretty, a natural. Musically, she doesn't have the strongest of voices, BUT she can sing none the less. Her tunes are catchy, free spirited and not the over synthed pop where vocals are changed and altered heavily by machines. Hence, Britany.
Disney has lost Hilary as the star of their Lizzy McGuire show through contract negotiations gone sour, BUT they were smart enough to sign her to their own record label for 3 albums. Smart move, since the soundtrack to the Lizzy McGuire movie has gone Platinum in sales. Hilary's new album "METAMORPHISIS" is set for release in September and the first single "So Yesterday" is already on MTV. Cute video, plain pure pop/rock fun tune. Hilary is currently filming The Cinderella Story, which my nephew AND I are looking forward to....and YES, we will be purchasing METAMORPHISIS when released.
