I was saddened to hear that Pop Star Kylie Minogue has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Melissa Ethridge,Anastatia and now Kylie. Praying for a full and complete recovery for them.
My girl,Geri Halliwell,or simply GERI, as she asks to be called now,has had yet another MAJOR set back to the launching of her come back,firstly with her UK Tour being permanently postponed due to poor ticket sales and now with UK's Top Radio Stations refusing to add her second single,DESIRE, from the eagerly awaited PASSION release due out June 6th. Radio states they will not be adding DESIRE as they have only limited space availiable to the playlistings and they feel DESIRE is not something their listeners will care for. Ironic,since RIDE IT soared into the UK Top 5 upon release. I smell a conspiracy. This and more can be found at the GERIFAN site on the sidebar. Days Of Our Lives writer(s) has finally gotten the hint that all of us loyal viewers have gotten more than just a little sick with the false hope of our favorite character's reuniting. They have finally brought the vast majority of them home to loved ones in Salem. Sadly, I admit that I am one who after many many years of watching this soap, can predict 99% accurately what will happen. I'm not sure if that's a good thing for writers or not. Or, better still, I don't know if that says much for me and my viewing habits.
American Idol will soon be over. Bo,Carrie and Vonzelle are left. After tonight, only two will remain,seems that Bo is will be the ultimate winner in this. Though I enjoy Carrie more than all, I know how great it will look for IDOL if they have a rocker win this competition. Something that has never happened before. Speaking of IDOL, I feel terrible for Paula and her current situation with that ex idol guy claiming she not only helped to groom him but that he also had a sexual affair with her. All I have to say about this is that yeah,ok,maybe Paula fell in love with the guy. No one can help who their heart leads them to fall in love with. Sadly,this guy is now trying to make money and garner publicity from it. I do not believe in anyway that EVERYTHING he claims happened did infact happen. Is it co-incidence that he let all of this out just when he has a debut CD and a book coming out? I don't think so. Therefore,making his credibality just a bit less than credible.
I surely hope the rumours are false about that Gastineau chic replacing Nicole Ritchie on The Simple Life. Frankly, I will no longer tune in when Nicole leaves anyway.
Recently read an article on an organization that is a NO KILL animal shelter called ANIMAL HAVEN. What a wonderful organization. They allow you to adopt a pet online. Allowing you to sponsor a pet and receive updates on him or her. Some of these pets being really ill and therefore being overlooked by so many when searching for a pet to add into their home. It is a wonderful wonderful idea and I really encourage all to visit the website,take a look at the dogs and cats that are aviliable.
