I recently finished reading the second part to Boy George's life. His latest autobiography "Straight", picks up where his first,"Take It Like A Man" ended some 10 years ago.
It was a short, but interesting read. Filled with never before seen photogrpahs of George in and out of Culture Club. Many photo's are from the stage play "Taboo" that he co-wrote and Rosie O'Donnell funded for it's short lived durtation on Broadway here in the states. The musical didn't last and neither did their friendship apparently, which is sad really. The friendship and commaradity shouldn't be conditional to if the play survived or not.
George has finally made amends with longtime 80's rival Pete Burns from the band "Dead Or Alive",you know who I'm talking about..."You Spin Me Right 'Round Baby,Right 'Round Like A Record Baby." and Boy still has a major distaste in his mouth for Madonna or McDonna, as he calls her.
Oh well....."Love is......La Dee Dah."
