For about a week now I have had a sore throat that I just can't seem to shake. (Get your mind out of the gutter Re'...it isn't cause of THAT lol). Since around my teen age years I have had a problem with easily getting a sore throat and often times losing my voice, more times than I can count actually. I tested negative for Strep, still Mark placed me on a Zithromax dose pack prophalactically. Still, no relief. No swollen glands, no cough, no fever, no redness. Mark, I know, views those moments of silence, when I lose my voice, as a gift from GOD (cause I never shut up otherwise) and cherishes them as golden. Yes, I still smoke. Could be part of the problem I guess. I have smoked since I was 13 years old. Marlboro Light 100's (in a Flip Top Box) to be exact. Nothing to brag about I know, just stating the facts.
Now, after a week of this constant nagging sore throat and now no voice, Mark has insisted I go see an Ear, Nose and Throat physician in Hampton Roads. I have had blood work run...all returned fine and negative. Chest X-ray is clear no signs of cancer or anything like that (Thank God), that was my first fear.
So, I go tomorrow at 10:30 am. I will keep you posted.
