Marks Favorite Writing Of Mine That Is About And For Him

OK...I am getting really really nervous now. It is officially 10 days (August 14th) until Mark and I exchange commitment vows. My little sister is home from Mississippi with her boyfriend in tow and we are having a great time. This is the first time in which her boyfriend and I have even really gotten to know one another. By now, he is so sick and tired of me telling him that he looks alot like Denzel Washington. He retorts by telling me that I am a black woman trapped in a gay mans body. Which i think is hilarious and a damn good compliment. I love me some Mo'nique (The Parkers fame) Kino. That's his name btw, Kino. Hey...Kino, can you believe that i actually got your name right for once!!! I am not calling you "Kinko". I am awful with names. Like the embarassing time when i was a secretary and paged for my new co-worker "Velvetta" over the loud speaker to notify her of a phone call. Sadly, her name was "Joletta" NOT "Velvetta." "VELVETTA.....PHONE CALL ON LINE ONE.....VELVETTA.....PHONE CALL ON LINE ONE....THANK YOU."

Anyway.... As a special little present to Mark, i am posting one of my writings that he particularly likes. It was written for him and about him not long ago. I posted it then and i am posting it now so sorry if it is repetitive.

Tonight, I watched-------------as you drifted off to sleep
