I Hope Everyone Is Well

I hope that everyone is well and has been well while I have been gone. I would like to thank my sister Carla for doing such a great job of guest blogging. It won't be last time that anyone hears from her. I have invited her to keep her password and screen name and post an entry anytime she feels the urge. Judging, from comments and etc Carla, Nick and Re' have gotten along rather well.
Mark and I had a great time in the U.K. It was so great to see my friend Brian again. Oh, I'm sorry Mr. "Airman Perasso" I meant to say. LOL. It was, oddly enough, very unusually warm some of the days we were there. We went on a great tour of The Beatles and Jack The Ripper which was fun. The Hara Krishnas' performed a parade in the streets, dispensing some of their home made desserts. Im not sure what it contained ingredient wise because i didn't have the nerve to eat it. It looked like a piece of white fudge with brown specks of something in it. In Pickadilly Square we shopped and I spent a great deal of time in the VIRGIN MUSIC STORE where Mark went browsing in Antique shops. Mark saw the changing of the guards for the first time and we had a great afternoon lunch on that day in the Palace Park.
Our ceremony went great and without any hitches. Mark looked so handsome in his tux. My nephew did a great job being our ring bearer and my neice made the cutest little flower girl. My father and mother stood at my side as Marks parents did his. I was glad to meet my Ex boyfriend Stephens new boyfriend, Cory. They attended and make a breath taking couple. Honestly, I was a little shocked that Stephen attended. I know of his feelings for me still, but after the ceremony he told me he was greatful that I am in his life again and he accepts it as a friend. That meant alot to me Stephen. Cory, you have a great man in your life now with Stephen. I hope that you guys will be as happy as Mark and I and thanks for reminding me which side of the lapel the corsage gets pinned on.
My father, a man of few words, actually gave a toast during the reception. It still rings in my head. Words I will never forget. Daddy.......I know that we have always had a love/hate relationship. I look forward to this new phase in my life with Mark and above all, I look forward to yours and my new begining. I know that I am not the man you dreamnt I would be as a child. You had other hopes, aspirations and dreams for me. But thank you for being there for us on the 14th of August. Thank you for welcoming Mark, Thank you for accepting him and most of all, thank you for accepting me. Having you there made me happier than you can ever imagine. We all change as we grow. You have changed. I have changed. I am so glad that our both changing has lead you and I to the same crossroad at this point in our lives. I love you Daddy.
