More Ironic Though, Is I Did Not Know This Song Was Origionally Performed By Elton John. I Only Became Familiar With This Song Because It Was Remade By Wilson Phillips For The TWO ROOMS: CELEBRATING THE SONGS OF ELTON JOHN AND BERNIE TAUPIN Album. I Never Quite Understood The Lyrical Meaning Of DANIEL. I Knew Deep Down This Boy, DANIEL, Had A Story To Tell. After All,There Was A Reason This Song Was Entitled DANIEL. But, It Felt As If Something Was Missing From This Song. That His Story Was Only Being Half Told.
