What I hope for in 2005......

My main focus for 2005, as well as Mark's, is to have our child. As everyone knows from past blogging entries, the hard work for that is behind us. We have found an agency. Passed our individual and together interview(s) basically given the green light. Now, we wait. The waiting is the hardest part. Mark and I both agreed that we would wait like everyone else on the "list". No trying to move ahead to the front of the line or anything like that. Other couples have this same dream as we do and are deserving as well.....so we wait.

I kicked the smoking habit in 2004. I had many "Cravings"....but never succumbed. The diet...well...that is another story. *Trim Spa worked well for me. I simply couldn't kick the cravings or "Come hithers" from Little Debbie nor Sara Lee....you can add that damn Ms. Paul's bitch in there too. I love those damn fish sticks. Not baked of course, fried in a great big tub of *Crisco. The *Atkins diet always takes the pounds off fast for me, but when ever I accomplish the wieght loss and I stop *Atkins the pounds tend to come back.....agressively. So, this coming year Mark has agreed to adding a little extra money to the grocery bill and permitting me to buy the things I need every week for my Macrobiotic diet regimine. I stress again in this post as I have in the past that I do not wish to become thin. I merely wish to become healthy. Lower the blood pressure and etc so I can be in the best of health. Especially when we have our little addition.

I received an email from an ex boyfriend of mine. I wont mention his name here because I am not certain if he would want it to be known. But it was really great to hear from him and I am so pleased to hear that he has happiness in his life. He deserves it.

I am happy to have read that my favorite actress Delta Burke will be appearing in the Broadway Play "Steel Magnolias." Delta will be playing the role of Beauty shop owner Truvy, the same role legendary songstress Dolly Parton played in the Hollywood film version. The play is set to open in April 2005. Delta Burke's husband Gerald McRaney recently underwent surgery to have a malignant tumour removed from lung. His prognosis is good as the cancer was detected early.
