I have became a fan of the new ABC show "Lost". It is my new addiction. With every new television show, the station tends to hype a series up and often times we, the viewers, find ourselves let down, misled and disappointed.
So, two weeks ago Mark and I sat down to watch the premiere of this series. Mark had little expectations for this show. A group of diverse individuals, stranded on a deserted island after their plane crashed with a "Monster" inhabitant.
When the show was over, Mark agreed that this series actually had potential. After the second episode airing he declared it a must see for us both on Wednesday evenings.
The true fascination of this series is not the unseen "Monster" in the woods. It is getting to know the electic group of individuals. Some have "pasts", some are foreigners, every episode tends to focus primarily on a character allowing the viewer to see that the true evil is not the "monster" but the individuals themselves. What are some hiding? Who will survive? Will there be a rescue?

Another new ABC show that we like is "Desperate Housewives". It isn't astounding, BUT it certainly has its perks, twists and turns. It is actually a relief to have two new television series that are entertaining and gives to Mark and I quality time together. It is cheaper than going to the movies....that's for sure.
